Inside the Library

Welcome!

Welcome to the Falkowski Digital Library. This Webpage was created for ILS 501: Introduction to Information Science and Technology with Professor Kim at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT. The purpose of this page is to function as a basic digital library and as a gateway to additional resources.

Our Mission

The Falkowski Digital Library (FDL) is not a traditional digital library in the sense that it is tied to a particular institution. However, visitors should perceive the FDL as a human created index of links that lead to electronic and physical resources or other databases that act as gateways to such resources. The Mission of the digital library is focused on connecting all visitors to the relevant content they are searching for.  The emphasis of resource selection leans towards digital content, but an entire section is devoted to connecting visitors with physical material via local libraries. Careful attention has been paid to attributing proper authorial credit where applicable on this Webpage. Please inform the creator, Todd Falkowski, if the material contained on this Webpage infringes upon copyright or intellectual property rights by emailing falkowskit2@southernct.edu.
